Based in Leeds, After Adoption Yorkshire is a registered Adoption Support Agency and charity, serving the Yorkshire , Humberside, North and N.E. Lincs Region with a full range of adoption support and training services to anyone whose life has been touched by adoption. The successful applicants will join a small but supportive team and enjoy a varied and stimulating work environment.
ADOPTION SUPPORT WORKERS - SCP 30- 39 £25,220 - £32,475 pro rata
One Part-Time Post (18.5 hours per week) and One Sessional Post
After Adoption Yorkshire is seeking to recruit two new workers to join their dynamic friendly adoption team. The part time post is a new position, supported by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales . This worker will be developing and supporting our existing work with non-consenting birth parents.
The sessional post will be temporary, but would provide an opportunity for a social worker to develop adoption support skills and expertise. This position would be particularly suitable for someone currently working part-time or for someone looking for a new direction, Professional, and/or personal experience in adoption is essential. Qualifications in Social Work, and/or counselling minimum requirement.
