DC Network - Launch of the �Telling and Talking� Materials

The Donor Conception Network � Telling and Talking � series of materials give detailed information, advice and tips for the parents of donor conceived children on how to approach telling their child. The series of booklets are an invaluable aid to all parents of donor conceived children. There is a wealth of evidence about the benefits of openness with families and the positive psychological consequences for both parents and children.

The decision to tell a child of its donor origins is clearly a major decision faced by parents. It is important that parents receive help and advice in making these decisions. The booklet's accompanying DVD make excellent reading and viewing - offering practical help to parents.

The Talking and Telling booklets for young people aged 17 years and over also have in valuable advice and tips which can be used by older parents who are contemplating sharing their adult child's origins with their son or daughter.
